Chinese shares open mixed
Beijing, July 25 Chinese stocks opened mixed on Wednesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.2 per cent to open at 2,911.45 points.
The Shenzhen Component Index opened 0.1 per cent higher at 9,475.71 points, Xinhua news agency reported.
The ChiNext Index, China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, was down 0.03 per cent to open at 1,629.13 points.
