Akshay Kumar's 'Gold' to have IMAX release

GOLD has already created a lot of buzz amongst the audiences and Akshay Kumar today announced that GOLD will be digitally re-mastered in the immersive IMAX format and released in IMAX theatres in India and selected international markets.

GOLD will release this Independence Day (August 15), which also marks the occasion of the 70th anniversary of free India's first gold medal at the 1948 Olympics.

Akshay Kumar took to his official Twitter account to share the IMAX trailer. He said, “Experience Gold in IMAX this 15th August. Watch #GoldIMAXTrailer now:”

Apart from Akshay Kumar, GOLD features Amit Sadh, Kunal Kapoor, Vineet Singh, Sunny Kaushal and Mouni Roy.
