Murray out of Brisbane International
Sydney, Jan 3: Two-time Wimbledon champion Andy Murray was ruled out of the Brisbane International by losing in straight sets 7-5, 6-2 to Russia's Daniil Medvedev.
Murray, 31, took his hip surgery early last year and missed three of the four Grand Slam events in 2018, reports Xinhua news agency.
He couldn't deal with Medvedev's power in Wednesday's second round match and was knocked out of the event in 81 minutes.
