Pankit to play CEO of multinational company

Mumbai, Aug 5 

Actor Pankit Thakker will essay the role of Akhil Sawant, who lives in a posh area in Mumbai and is the CEO of a multinational company, in the upcoming show "Tara from Satara".

"I will play Akhil, who is from Satara. He makes a mark with hard work and becomes the CEO of a multinational company. I essay a mature character, and to make it different from my past characters, I decided to experiment with my look," Pankit said. 

"I always have had a clean-shaved look but for the first time, I will be seen carrying a beard. Initially, it was bit tough for me to adjust to the beard. It would get itchy. I beard gel, beard oil and a beard brush. Now when I see myself in the mirror, I feel satisfied," added the "Kabhii Sautan Kabhii Sahelii" actor.

The Sony show "Tara from Satara" is the story of a young woman Tara and her journey from being aimless to finding purpose in life. It also stars Upendra Limaye, Roshni Walia, Eva Shirali and Amita Khopkar.
