Kerala set to record one lakh Covid cases
Thiruvananthapuram, Sep 10 With 3,349 Covid-19 cases reported in Kerala on Thursday, the state was all set to record one lakh cases on Friday.
In a statement, State Health Minister K. K. Shailaja said that at present there were 26,229 people who were coronavirus positive while 72,578 have recovered.
"On Thursday 1,657 recovered while 40,014 samples were sent for testing. Thiruvananthapuram district saw 558 people turning positive. Thirteen deaths were recorded taking the toll to 396," Shailaja added.
At present 2,04,376 people were under observation at various centres and included 20,248 people in hospitals.
There were 594 hot spots in the state.
