The 6.6-magnitude earthquake reportedly struck India, and other nations

As the earthquake tremors lasted for many seconds in the northern Indian states of Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, and Punjab, people fled their homes.


An AFP correspondent in Rawalpindi reported that "people ran out of their homes and were reciting the Koran," and other Pakistani cities such as Lahore and the capital Islamabad also reported the same thing.
