Establishment of New York State Chapter of IOC.USA

New York. On December 11, 2023
Indian Overseas Congress.
USA Members of the Core Group, in their ongoing effort to
strengthen the weight of the Indian Overseas Congress.USA,
met with15 members of the Indian Congress Party supporters
who had come to present their proposal to set up a New York
State Chapter of IOC.USA. The meeting took place at JAZEERA
RESTAURANT in Hicksville Long Island.
Following people participated in the NY State Chapter
formation meeting held on Friday Dec 01st 2023 in Hicksville 1.

President Mohinder Singh Gilzian, welcomed the Group and
expressed his pleasure in their offer to join the IOC.USA as a
group. He thanked them for their volunteerism and
commitment to assist the Indian community especially when
the Lok Sabha elections were around the corner in India in May
2024. He was pleased to note their stand for Democracy,
Secularism and Human Solidarity.
Each ember introduced himself around the table. Secretary
General of IOC.USA Mr. Harbachan Singh expressed his
satisfaction and pleasure at the pool of talent and experience
that came with the group and Vice President of IOC.USA Mr.

John Joseph was very pleased with the experience and
professionalism of the group members present.
Harbachan Singh advised some of the procedures, such as
membership registration, and the abidance IOC.USA bylaws
that need to be followed to get the Chapter organized and
established under IOC.USA.
It is strongly believed that, with the addition of this enthusiastic
group it could go a long way to boost the strength and image of
IOC.USA. IOC.USA had just completed an very aggressive drive
to enhance its activities by holding mega events at New Jersey,
Dallas, Chicago, San Francisco and Los Angeles under the
leadership of IOC Global Chairman Dr. Sam Pitroda ji.
