A venomous snake was found inside the judge's chamber at the Kannur Family Court during an ongoing hearing.

A venomous snake was found inside the judge's chamber at the Kannur Family Court while a hearing was in progress. The snake was spotted under a table on Saturday afternoon. However, the judge was not present in the chamber at the time as the trial proceedings were ongoing.

The judge’s office assistant noticed the snake under the table and immediately informed the Forest Department. Officials arrived at the scene and successfully captured the snake. Court staff had previously raised complaints about the increasing presence of snakes in the Kannur Court premises.
