A bee attack at the Palaruvi tourist spot in Kollam left several people injured. A total of 25 individuals, including forest department staff and tourists, were stung. Those injured sought treatment at a private hospital in Aryankavu, but none sustained serious injuries.
Following the incident, the Thenmala RRT (Rapid Response Team) evacuated visitors from the area. The forest department's initial assessment suggests that the beehive may have been disturbed by monkeys or birds.
