Son beheads father for not giving ₹10 to buy gutkha.

In Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district, a man beheaded his father after he refused to give ₹10 to buy gutkha, a tobacco-based intoxicant. The police confirmed that the victim was 70-year-old Baidhar Singh. Following the brutal act, the 40-year-old accused carried the severed head to the Chandua police station and surrendered.

Meanwhile, reports state that the accused’s mother managed to flee the scene. The police have arrested the accused in connection with the incident. SDPO Pravat Mallik stated that the murder occurred following a heated argument between the accused and his parents over a trivial matter. A forensic team, along with the police, has reached the village, and the investigation is currently underway.
