Oxygen Tube Explodes at Thiruvananthapuram SAT Hospital; Staff Member Injured
Nursing assistant Shyla sustained injuries following the explosion of an oxygen tube in the emergency department.
The explosion occurred due to excessive pressure in the oxygen flow meter. Although Shyla was initially taken to the eye hospital for treatment, she was later referred to the medical college. Reports indicate that she may require eye surgery. The exact cause of the explosion remains unclear.
