Several medical students are reported to have been injured in the Ahmedabad plane tragedy. Local sources indicate that the aircraft did not crash into an open area. Reports suggest that the plane crashed into the mess hall of the BJ Medical College UG hostel in Meghaninagar. The students who were in the hostel at the time of the crash sustained injuries. Fire also spread to nearby buildings.
