IPCNA Houston Chapter Announces 2026–2027 Leadership; Plans Expanded Media Engagement

The Houston Chapter of the India Press Club of North America (IPCNA) officially introduced its 2026–2027 leadership team during a meeting held at the Apna Bazaar Auditorium on Wednesday evening.

The session was presided over by President Finny Raju, while Secretary Jemon Ranni delivered the welcome address. The program began with a prayer song rendered by Joint Treasurer Saji Pullad.

A highlight of the evening was the recognition of Anil Aranmula, former President of the Houston Chapter and currently serving as IPCNA National General Secretary. He was honored by President Finny Raju and Secretary Jemon Ranni in acknowledgment of his leadership and continued service at the national level.

In his address, President Finny Raju expressed gratitude to past office-bearers and members whose efforts contributed to the steady growth and visibility of the Houston Chapter. He emphasized unity, professionalism, and responsible journalism as key priorities for the new term. He also announced that an official public launch program for the 2026–2027 term is being planned for April.

Treasurer Viju Varghese presented the chapter’s financial report and encouraged member participation and sponsorship support to strengthen upcoming initiatives.

Leaders outlined a series of proposed activities for the year, including media forums, press interactions, public discussions, and issue-based community engagements. The chapter also plans to expand its digital presence and increase outreach through social media platforms.

Members were additionally informed about the national leadership’s forthcoming program in Dallas and were encouraged to participate.

The meeting concluded with active participation from media professionals and community representatives, reaffirming IPCNA Houston’s commitment to ethical journalism, collaboration, and meaningful community engagement.
