In a celebration of nostalgia, music, and cinematic ambition, the much-anticipated feature film Rahul, Dev & Burman was officially launched with a grand Mahurat ceremony conducted in an old traditional style at NT1 Studio, Kolkata — the historic heartland of Indian cinema.

Produced by Raaj Rahhi and Ashish Kumar under the banner of World Cinema Partners, in association with Show Bigg Entertainment, the film is positioned as a unique cultural bridge—bringing the timeless musical genius of R.D. Burman to contemporary global audiences. Directed by Ashish Kumar and co-written by Sanyukta Ghosh, Rahul, Dev & Burman marks a historic first in Bengali cinema—a full-length feature film built entirely around the original voice and soundtrack of the legendary R.D. Burman. The narrative draws emotional depth and structure from seven iconic songs:
