ZEE5 has unveiled the official trailer of its upcoming Telugu Original series Memu Coplam, a deliciously chaotic entertainer blending rural madness, mystery, comedy, and unexpected twists. Set against the colorful backdrop of a village obsessed with cockfighting, the series is set to premiere exclusively on ZEE5 on May 22, 2026.
When a prized rooster mysteriously vanishes from a village where cockfighting is treated as pride, politics, and prestige rolled into one, absolute chaos erupts. The bizarre investigation falls into the least capable hands possible — Ravi and Mohan Sotari, two hilariously clueless cops with more confidence than common sense. What begins as an overblown poultry pursuit soon spirals into a tangled mystery far bigger than either of them imagined.
As the investigation stumbles from one ridiculous mishap to another, the duo accidentally uncovers secrets that threaten to shake the very foundations of their quirky village. With rumors of black magic, warnings of bloodshed, political pressure, activist outrage, and growing paranoia spreading rapidly, Memu Coplam steadily transforms from a hilarious rural comedy into an unpredictable mystery loaded with escalating madness.

The trailer has already struck a chord for its rooted atmosphere, eccentric characters, sharp visual style, and uniquely chaotic energy. Rather than relying on forced punchlines, the humor organically emerges through misunderstandings, social absurdities, and the sincere seriousness with which every character treats the missing rooster crisis.
At the center of the madness stands Nagendra Babu as Gajapati Raju, while Getup Srinu as Mohan Sotari and Raviteja Nannimala as Ravi Sotari deliver an entertaining blend of confusion, desperation, and accidental investigative brilliance.
The series also stars Reethu Chowdary as Meenakshi, Charan Lakkaraju as Akash Reddy, Siri Parvathy as Sanghavi, and Kireeti Damaraju as Giri in key roles.
