Western Pentecostal Conference to Begin in Edmonton on July 16

EDMONTON, Alberta:
The 36th Western Pentecostal Conference, an annual spiritual gathering of Pentecostal believers from Western Canada and the Pacific Northwest of the United States, will be held from July 16–19 in Edmonton, Alberta. The conference will bring together participants from Edmonton, Calgary, Vancouver, Seattle, and other regions for four days of worship, biblical teaching, and fellowship.

The theme for this year’s conference is “The Season of Harvest.” Organizers said the sessions will focus on the Church’s mission, evangelism, and the challenges and opportunities facing believers in today’s world.

Conference Chairman Pastor Sam Varughese will inaugurate the event. Pastor Joe Thomas from Bengaluru will be the keynote speaker for the Malayalam sessions, while Pastor Nirup Alphonse will lead the English sessions. Sister Ramya Sara Jacob will lead the worship, and ministers and evangelists from different parts of the world will also share the Word during the conference.

The conference is jointly organized by Pentecostal churches from Edmonton, Calgary, Vancouver, and the Seattle region. Programs will be held July 16–18 at Life Church, 4461 50 Street NW, Edmonton, and July 19 at 2104 156 Street SW, Edmonton, where the conference will conclude with a joint worship service and Holy Communion.

According to the organizers, the conference aims to encourage spiritual renewal, strengthen the Church’s mission, and foster unity among believers. Preparations are being coordinated by Secretary Ronnie Simon Mathews, Treasurer Jiji Philip, and Youth Director Gladwin Koshy.
