Indo-American Press Club (IAPC) Announces National Executive Committee for 2026 Term

The Indo-American Press Club Inc. (IAPC) has officially announced the formation of its National
Executive Committee for the 2026 term, presenting a formidable lineup of media, technology,
and academic professionals to steer the organization’s mission across North America.
Executive Leadership Team Takes Charge


Leading the newly appointed committee as President is Meena Chittilapilly, a prominent
socio-cultural media activist from Dallas, Texas. Chittilapilly, who previously served as IAPC’s
National Vice-Chairperson from 2022 to 2024 and led the Dallas chapter from 2019 to 2021,
brings an extensive background in both media anchoring for major networks like Doordarshan
and Flowers TV USA, and corporate project management at the international IT firm Quantiphi.
Serving alongside her is Sam T. Samuel as Executive Vice President, a legal professional
and seasoned columnist with over four decades of literary contributions and the recipient of the
2024 "Best Article" award from the Global Malayalee Pentecostal Media Association.
The executive core is rounded out by General Secretary Abi Nellikkal Abraham, an
Edmonton-based technology entrepreneur, founder of AMCAIN Technologies, and publisher of
AMCAIN News, who holds an MBA in E-Business and a B.Tech in Technology Management.
Managing the organization's financial portfolio is Thrissur Jacob who takes the role of
Treasurer, bringing more than 15 years of experience as a television producer, news editor,
and director of Jaihind News.

National Coordinators and Public Relations Strategic Appointments

The IAPC has positioned a strong team to manage its organizational development and public
relations. Jaison Mathew, a professional educator, veteran journalist, and alumnus of the
Kerala Press Academy, steps in as National Coordinator while continuing his roles as Chief
Editor of CMN News and Public Relations Officer (PRO) for the Toronto International Dance
Festival. Fellow National Coordinator Sunil Manjanikara brings deep broadcasting expertise as
the Program In Chief at Global Reporter Channel and former program director of Jaihind TV
USA.
Handling public relations are Dr. Alice Mathew and Prof. Joy Pallattumadom, who serve as
Public Relations Officers (PRO). Dr. Alice Mathew, a retired professor from the University of
Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) and motivational speaker, notably achieved the "Mrs. India 2025
Super Classic" title at the age of 71. Prof. Pallattumadom, former Professor of Zoology at St.
Stephen's College, Uzhavoor, previously served the IAPC Dallas Chapter as its Vice President
from 2015 to 2019 and represented the chapter at the IAPC National Executive Committee. He
concurrently serves as the Global Vice President of the Global Indian Council (GIC) and
President of the Pravasi Malayali Federation (PMF) North America.


Bridging the organization toward emerging media trends is Dyuthi Susan Zachariah, appointed
as PRO Next Gen. A Master’s student in English Language and Literature at Manipal Academy
of Higher Education, Zachariah won first place in the 2026 IAPC/GIC Online News Writing
Competition and currently works as a journalism intern at Zplux Technologies.


Vice Presidents and Financial Oversight


The vice presidency features a diverse group of regional and industry leaders. Sunny George,
an IT executive with 25 years of experience in real-time market data services and trading floor
operations, serves as Vice President alongside his role as President and CEO of SGTC LLC.
He is joined by Vice President Dr. Aann Abraham, a Calgary-based academic consultant,
Ayurveda practitioner, and dedicated Catholic journalist holding a PhD in Advanced Sciences.
Also appointed to the vice presidency are Nisha Jude, a New York-based healthcare
professional and social media influencer who reported for Doordarshan Kerala during the
pandemic, and Jiji Kurian, a prominent community leader, music composer, and director of
Kerala News Online. Assisting the treasury department is Noble Augustine, who takes on the
role of Joint Treasurer while continuing his work as an English educator and Editorial Director
at Samiksha magazine in Canada.


Secretaries Formed to Drive Operations

The operational engine of the committee will be managed by four newly appointed Secretaries.
Thomas John Mangalathil, a retired psychiatric technician with over two decades of service in
California State facilities, brings a background in media ministry as the leader of Mangal Media

for Christ. Working alongside him is James Chacko, a Texas-based writer for Jai Hind News
and E Malayalee who currently serves as the General Secretary of the Riverstone Malayali
Association.

The secretariat is further strengthened by Divya Warrier, a veteran television news anchor,
classical dancer, and art educator who has performed at the prestigious Surya Festival, and
Roopsi Narula, a New Jersey-based digital advertising technology (AdTech) expert with over
15 years of industry experience, currently working with Omnicom Media Group.
The induction of the 2026 National Executive Committee marks a strategic milestone for the
Indo-American Press Club as it looks to expand its digital footprint, journalistic advocacy, and
media mentorship across the global diaspora.
