Historic First IPC NRI Global Conference Begins in Philadelphia

The first-ever IPC NRI Global Conference officially commenced on Friday, July 24, with a grand inaugural session led by Rev. Dr. Valson Abraham, General President of the Indian Pentecostal Church of God (IPC). The opening service, held at 6:30 p.m., brought together IPC NRI delegates, church leaders, and believers from across North America and various parts of the world.

The conference witnessed an encouraging turnout, reflecting the unity, commitment, and support of the global IPC community for this historic gathering.

Dr. George Mathew, Global Convener of IPC NRI, presided over the inaugural session, while Dr. Thomas Kidangalil, Global Secretary, delivered the welcome address. The worship team led the congregation in a spirit-filled time of praise and worship, adding to the significance of the occasion.

Rev. Dr. Valson Abraham and Rev. Nooruddin Mulla delivered the keynote messages, emphasizing spiritual renewal, unity, and the mission of the Church. Among those in attendance were IPC General Secretary Rev. Dr. Baby Varughese, Global Treasurer Abraham Varughese, and several national and international leaders.

According to Media Coordinator Joy Thumpamon, the conference will continue on Saturday with a full schedule of meetings and seminars. Beginning at 11:00 a.m., seminar sessions will feature Bimal John, Joy Thumpamon, and Rev. Dr. Chris Jackson, who will address a variety of relevant topics.

The afternoon schedule includes Youth and Ladies’ sessions, followed by the evening public meeting at 6:30 p.m. The conference will conclude on Sunday with a worship service and Holy Communion.
