Words

Sometimes
They are like dark cloud cheaters
that come and go without rain.

At other times
forgetting to drain to the last drop
And standing lost and abstracted
As in a long drawn drizzle that stays
whining and whimpering.

Or at yet other times
Tiring and tearing as in an endless
Torrential tirade,
freezing even the bones.

Or often,
like a naughty rain-imp that shows up
peeping into the scorching sun- blaze
With a wink and a wet jest

Or like
crystalline
bubble -balls
that dance,
Spraying the wind blown leaves
And vanishing into nothingness

Playing hide and seek,
Showering shocking kisses,

A wizardly some one.
