India to play FIFA World Cup qualifier March 12
New Delhi, Feb 9
The Indian football team will
play their home match of the Preliminary Joint Qualification Round 1
for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia at the Indira Gandhi Athletics
Stadium in Guwahati March 12.
Round 1 will be played on a
home-and-away format. The match will mark the debut for new head coach
Stephen Constantine during his second stint in India. The return leg is
slated for March 17.
The draw for the same will take place Feb 10.
