Exports drive up Ford India's February sales
Chennai: Car maker Ford India said on Tuesday it closed its sales book last month at 12,576 units, with exports driving up the growth.
In a statement, the Indian subsidiary of American automobile maker said it sold 12,576 units last month up from 12,253 units sold in February 2014.
However in the domestic market, Ford India sold 5,959 units last month down from 6,799 units sold in February 2014.
On the other hand, exports last month went up to 6,617 units from 5,454 units shipped out during corresponding period last year.
