Dedicate National Award to my guru Anthony: Vivek Harshan
Chennai, March 24
Delighted with the National
Award for his work in Tamil gangster drama "Jigarthanda", editor Vivek
Harshan dedicated the honour to his guru Anthony.
"I'm very
happy. I'd like to dedicate the award to my guru. And to the team of
'Jigarthanda'. It wouldn't have been possible without them," Harshan
told IANS on Tuesday.
Several Tamil cinema editors such as
Sreekar Prasad, K.L. Praveen, Kishore T.E. and V.J. Sabu have won
National Awards for their work over the years.
Vivek says good work "always gets recognised".
"Good
work being recognised is a good trend. When our work gets recognized
nationally, it's very good for the industry," he said.
