Chennai, April 6
Shruti Haasan has been roped
in for Tamil superstar Ajith Kumar's yet-untitled next film, which will
be helmed by Siruthai Siva and produced by A.M. Rathnam.
"Shruti
Haasan has been finalised as the heroine. The makers are looking for
another actress to play the role of Ajitha's sister in the movie. The
pre-production work is already underway. The regular shooting will start
from May," a source from the film's unit told IANS.
The source also confirmed that actress Bindu Madhavi won't be playing Ajith's sister.
Model-turned-actor Kabir Singh is in talks to play the antagonist, while the rest of the cast is being finalised.
Anirudh Ravichander has been signed on to compose the tunes.
