Infosys reports 3.5 percent rise in fourth quarter profits
Chennai: Information technology bellwether Infosys Ltd on Friday reported a 3.5-percent rise in the fourth quarter results ended March 31, at Rs.3,097 crore, while proposing a bonus issue of shares in the ratio of 1:1.
Presenting the much-awaited results out of here, rather than from its headquarters in Bengaluru, the company said its revenues for the period were up 4.2 percent at Rs.13,411 crore, against Rs.12,875 crore for the like period of the previous fiscal.
The shares of the company, which were in the red for the bulk of trading session on Friday, were ruling at Rs.2,045.00, with a loss of 77.55, or 3.65 percent, over the previous close.
