Reaching out to those affected in earthquake: Modi
New Delhi, April 25 : Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday said he was working to reach out to those affected in the earthquake that was felt across India and Nepal.
"We are in the process of finding more information and are working to reach out to those affected, both at home and in Nepal," Modi tweeted.
"News has come in about an earthquake in Nepal. Several parts of India also experienced tremors." he said.
An earthquake of 7.5 on Richter scale struck various cities of India, including Delhi, Gurgaon, Kolkata and Guwahati at 11.41 a.m.
The epicentre of the earthqauke was in Lamjung, Nepal.
