Digital India could transform India into knowledge economy
Bengaluru, July 2 :A digital India could transform Indian society into a knowledge economy, said Prabir Kumar Das, director of Software Technology Parks of India, on Thursday while inaugurating Digital India Week here.
Digital India Week was nationally inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday in New Delhi.
It aims to inform, educate and engage citizens through various events at large number of digital points such as post offices, schools, gram panchayats and others about the benefits of Digital India.
"The Digital India programme is a mission to prepare India for a knowledge future by making technology central to enabling change," said Das.
