Networking event with Sen Carlucci in Rockland, Aug 1

New York State Senator David Carlucci from Rockland will interact with the Indian community at a networking BBQ, which will also raise funds for his reelection campaign.

The event is scheduled for August 1, 4 pm to 7 pm hosted by Jain Jacob CPA and Dr Reena Jacob in New City at their residence (31 Trailside Place. New City, NY 10956)

Senator Carlucci, one of the youngest senators, is a friend of the Indian, especially Malayalee community. He wants to interact with the people directly to know the problems and grievances of the community, Jain Jacob said.

The event will be an informal one, so that people can interact one on one with the senator. The hosts request people to come with family and friends who are interested to meet the senator.

Sen Carlucci is always in the forefront to help the community in various issues. Recently, he introduced and got passed a bill in the Senate to declare August as India Heritage Month in the state at the request of Rockland County Legislator Dr Aney Paul. A similar bill was passed in the Assembly introduced by Assemblyman Rep Zebrowski. Several Indians including Paul Karukappallil, Mathai P Das and others went to Albany to witness the historic event.

Suggested minimum contribution: $100 per family. Make checks payable to: “David Carlucci for New York”
