Sri Lanka polls end

Colombo, Aug 17  Voting for Sri Lanka's parliamentary elections, which commenced at 7 a.m., ended on Monday evening, a media report said.

The incident-free election had a high turnout compared to previous elections, the Daily Mirror reported.
