Chennai, Sep 21 : If the grapevine is to be believed, actor-filmmaker Kamal Haasan will, for the first time in his career, endorse textile showroom brand Pothys.

An advertisement for the same may be shot here this week.

"Actor-photographer Krisha will shoot this video in a special set. It will be a two-minute long advertisement and is likely to go on air very soon," a source from the production team told IANS.

In a career spanning over five decades, Haasan has never endorsed a brand.

Not long ago, Kamal's daughter Shruti Haasan endorsed Pothys' boutique showroom.

The 60-year-old actor currently awaits the release of Tamil-Telugu bilingual thriller "Thoongaavanam".
