Neymar deserves an Oscar for acting: Guti
Barcelona, Feb 26 : Former Real Madrid midfielder Guti on Friday criticised Barcelona footballer Neymar for persistent diving and said he deserves an Oscar for best actor.
The Brazilian striker has drawn criticism for diving and play acting from some corners of the footballing world and Guti is the latest to join in.
"Neymar, Jordi Alba and Dani Alves exaggerate more than necessary when they need to. Neymar deserves the Oscar for best actor for the many films he has done," Guti was quoted as saying by goal.com.
Guti made close to 400 appearances for Madrid during his playing days and believes the Spanish giants can finish the season on a strong note by doing well in the Champions League.
"You have to show the fans that you can go to the end of the season. The championship is practically lost but we must try to make a good Champions League," he said.
