JKLF condemns Lahore terror attack
Srinagar, March 28 (IANS) Pro-Azadi Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) on Monday condemned the bombing of Easter revellers in Lahore, saying the massacre is against humanity and the world should intervene to stop such acts.
Dozens of JKLF activists led by Bashir Ahmad Bhat, general secretary of the separatist group, took out a peaceful march in Maisuma locality to condemn the terror strike against unarmed civilians, including women and children, in Lahore on Sunday.
"We condemn massacre of innocent people," said the banners carried by the protesters.
"The terror attack is against humanity and against all religions in the world. The world community should not watch such events as mute spectators. Every human being and nation must join hands to condemn and stop such attacks," Bhat told reporters.
The protestors later dispersed peacefully.
At least 72 people were killed and over 200 injured when terrorists carried out a bomb attack in a park full of Christian revellers in Lahore on Sunday. They were celebrating Easter Sunday.
