Sony slashes prices of premium Xperia X, Z5 smartphones
New Delhi, Sep 5: Sony India on Monday announced that it has slashed prices for its Xperia X and Z5 premium smartphones in India, effective from September 1.
Earlier priced at Rs 48,990, Xperia X will now be available at Rs 38,990 while Xperia Z5 Premium will cost Rs 47,990 which was earlier available for Rs 55,990.
Xperia X features 5-inch full-HD TRILUMINOS display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 processor paired with 3GB of RAM and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.
It sports a 23MP rear camera and 13MP front camera, 64GB internal memory (expandable up to 200GB) and houses 2,620mAh battery.
Xperia Z5 Premium packs a 5.5-inch 4K TRILUMINOS display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.
It sports a 23MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera, 32GB internal memory (expandable up to 200GB) and houses a 3,430mAh battery.
