Gandhi Jayanti: B-Town remembers the Mahatma
Mumbai, Oct 2: On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti on Sunday, Bollywood celebrities including Lata Mangeshkar, Amitabh Bachchan and Anupam Kher have paid tributes to Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, also known as Father of the Nation.
The celebrities took to Twitter to share their views on Gandhi, whose birth anniversary on October 2 is also celebrated as the International Day of Non-Violence all over the world.
The celebrities also remembered Lal Bahadur Shastri, the second Prime Minister of India, on his 112th birth anniversary.
