October 28 to be observed as National Ayurveda Day: Minister
New Delhi, Oct 27 : The Ayush Ministry on Thursday said October 28 will be observed as National Ayurveda Day across the country.
The Ministry is also organising a day-long National Seminar on Prevention and Control of Diabetes through Ayurveda on the occasion.
A statement from the Ministry also said that it will launch Mission Madhumeha through Ayurveda on the occasion.
"The Mission Madhumeha will be implemented throughout the country through a specially designed National Treatment Protocol for effective management of Diabetes through Ayurveda," the statement said.
"The national treatment Protocol will also be released on the occasion of the National Seminar," the statement added.
