Carey's fiance upset by her friendship with dancer

Los Angeles, Oct 29: Singer Mariah Carey's friendship with her backup dancer has reportedly infuriated her fiance James Packer.

The couple are currently on a break after a fight in Greece one month ago and according to sources, Packer did not approve of Carey's friendship with Brian Tanaka, who has worked for her for years, reports tmz.com.

Packer and Tanaka are said to have had a heated row in Las Vegas in June, where Carey was performing.

However, there is no suggestion that the relationship between Tanaka and Carey is anything more than friendship.

Carey and Packer are currently trying to work things out after their blowup in Greece.

"Mariah and James had a fight in Greece, and have not seen each other since. (The fight was not due to) any cheating allegations or excessive spending. They are trying to work it out. Right now, they are not sure if they will stay together. They are discussing it," Carey's representative said in a statement at that time.
