Mani Ratnam's 'Kaatru Veliyidai' to release in March 2017
Chennai, Nov 13 : Filmmaker Mani Ratnam's upcoming Tamil drama "Kaatru Veliyidai" will hit the screens worldwide in March next year, the makers have announced through an official poster.
With most of the film almost wrapped up, the team is gearing up for a brief schedule in Europe.
Starring Karthi and Aditi Rao Hydari in the lead roles, the film is tipped to be high on action unlike any recent Ratnam project.
Karthi will be seen as a US-returned fighter pilot and Aditi as a doctor.
Oscar-winning composer A.R. Rahman has worked on the tunes, while Ravi Varman has cranked the camera.
The film has been predominantly shot in Ooty and Leh-Ladakh.
Dubbed in Telugu as "Duet", the film will be simultaneously released alongside the Tamil version.
