Modi asks people to rate demonetisation move
New Delhi, Nov 22 Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday asked people to give their first-hand views and rate the Centres decision to spike Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 notes on his official app.
"I want your first-hand view on the decision taken regarding currency notes," Modi tweeted.
Posting a link to the mobile application -- NM (Narendra Modi) -- he said: "Take part in the survey on the NM App."
The demonetisation announced by Modi on November 8 to counter black money and fake currency has been criticised by the Opposition.
The move has triggered a cash chaos across the country, with millions queuing up outside banks and ATMs to withdraw money or deposit or exchange the old currency.
