Kanimozhi taken into custody during protest
Chennai, March 13: DMK leader and Rajya Sabha member Kanimozhi was taken into custody by police on Monday here as she led a protest against the non-availability of essential commodities at ration shops.
The DMK party held protests across the state against the erratic supply of essential items through public distribution system (PDS).
Speaking at the protest, Kanimozhi said the Tamil Nadu government is not taking interest in the supply of items at ration shops.
