Giriraj Singh likely to be discharged on Thursday
New Delhi, May 23: Union Minister Giriraj Singh, undergoing treatment at Ram Manohar Lohia (RML) Hospital here, will be discharged by Thursday, the hospital authorities said on Tuesday.
Singh, the Minister of State for Micro, Medium and Small Enterprises, was admitted on Sunday evening after complaining of chest pain and illness. After initial examination, it was found that he had chest infection.
"He (Giriraj Singh) is currently under the observation of doctors. As he has chest infection... the required tests are being performed. However, he is recovering well and will be discharged in a day or two," said a senior RML doctor, unwilling to be named.
