Markets open on a negative note on Wednesday
Mumbai, June 28: The 30-scrip Sensitive Index (Sensex) on Wednesday opened on a negative note during the morning session of the trade.
The Sensex of the BSE after opening at 30,988,87 points, touched a high of 31,000.48 points and a low of 30,899.41 points.
On Tuesday the Sensex closed at 30,958.25 points.
The Sensex is trading at 30,917.87 points down by 40.38 points or 0.13 per cent.
On the other hand the broader 51-scrip Nifty at National Stock Exchange (NSE) opened at 9,520.20 points after closing at 9,511.40 points on Tuesday.
The Nifty is trading at 9,484.00 points in the morning.
