Key Indian equity indices trade flat during afternoon session

Mumbai, July 12: Key Indian equity indices were trading flat in the afternoon session on Wednesday.

The 30-scrip Sensitive Index (Sensex) was trading 12.15 points or 0.04 per cent higher.

The wider 51-scrip Nifty of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) was also trading 18.30 points or 0.19 per cent higher at 9,804.35 points.

The Sensex of the BSE, which opened at 31,813.24 points, was trading at 31,759.24 points (at 1.16 p.m.), higher 12.15 points or 0.04 per cent from the previous day's close at 31,747.09 points.

The Sensex touched a high of 31,865.69 points and a low of 31,731.43 points in the trade so far.
