Richard Thaler awarded Economics Nobel
Oslo, Oct 9: The Nobel Prize in Economics was on Monday awarded to American economist Richard H. Thaler.
The Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel 2017 was bestowed on the 72-year-old for his "contributions to behavioural economics".
Thaler is a professor of Behavioural Sciences and Economics at the University of Chicago.
