Pursue healthier lifestyle to fight diabetes: Modi
New Delhi, Nov 14: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the occasion of World Diabetes Day on Tuesday urged people to pledge to lead a healthier life to overcome the disease.
In his tweet, Modi said: "Spoke about the rising occurrence of diabetes among youth during Mann Ki Baat last month." He attached a four-minute audio clip of his address to the nation on October 29.
World Diabetes Day is a global awareness campaign focusing on diabetes mellitus and is held on November 14 each year.
