Leh records lowest temperature in J&K
Srinagar, Nov 28: Leh town was the coldest at minus 7.3 degrees Celsius, while Katra recorded 9.6, the highest night temperature in Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday.
The weather office has said the present cold wave conditions will continue in the state till Saturday with the morning and evening temperatures likely to fall further.
Srinagar city recorded minus 1.9, Pahalgam minus 3.9 and Gulmarg minus 3.4 as the minimum temperatures. Kargil town recorded minus 6.4.
Jammu city was at 9.1, Batote 5.2, Bannihal 1.1 and Bhaderwah 2.1, an official of the MET department said.
