Qatar Airways will start direct flights from Philadelphia to Cochin from February 1

Qatar Airways will start direct flights from Philadelphia to Cochin, Kerala starting February 1. It will continue till March 24 and if found viable, the service will continue, according to travel experts.

The flight will start daily at 8:15 from Philadelphia and will reach Doha at 4.35. From there it will start at 7.20 and will reach Cochin at 2.20 am.
The return flight will start from Cochin at 3.35 am and will reach Doha at 6.25 am. From there, it will start at 8 am and will reach Philadelphia at 2:15 pm.
The initial fare is $985, according to Mathew P. Mathew of Travel Net in Rockville, Maryland (301-984-7300)

The waiting time in Doha is only two to two and half hours only.
