Samskrita Bharati NY chapter, to launch Balakendram  

December 28, 2017- The New York chapter of Samskrita Bharati USA, a non-profit organization
engaged in promoting Sanskrit language, will launch a Balakendram in New
York, to assist the learning of Samskritam (Sanskrit) for children as well as
adults.
 
The classes will emphasis initially on conversational Sanskrit and the
instructions will be held through fun filled interactive sessions. The classes are
scheduled to begin on 6 th January, 2018, and will be held on Saturdays from 4:00
p.m. through 6:00p.m. (for two hours).  The venue will be the Vaishnav Temple,
100 Lakeville Rd, New Hyde Park, NY 11040
 
Trained and experienced personnel will be teaching the language with a well-
designed syllabus for ease of instruction and learning. The classes are open to

Samskrita Bharati is primarily dedicated to the mission of popularizing the use of
Sanskrit via the spoken medium. Moving beyond the admiration of Sanskrit as a
classical language, Samskrita Bharati seeks to make Samskritam a contemporary
