Kerber enters Australian Open semis
Melbourne, Jan 24: German tennis player Angelique Kerber on Wednesday had no problems beating American Madison Keys in the Australian Open quarter-finals and became the first to reach the semi-finals.
Kerber thrashed Keys in less than an hour 6-1, 6-2 at the Rod Laver Arena here, reports Efe.
The 30-year-old German reached the quarter-final after eliminating Taiwanese Su-Wei Hsieh 4-6, 7-5, 6-2. He will take on the winner of Romanian Simona Halep-Czech Karolina Pliskova clash.
