karunya sparsham; Minister Veena George says medicine worth 2.01 crores distributed."
As part of the state's 100-day action program, State Health Minister Veena George said that medicines worth 2.01 crore rupees have been distributed through the 'karunya sparsham- Zero Profit Anti-Cancer Drugs' scheme implemented by the State Health Department. Out of this, medicines worth 1.34 crore rupees were distributed through the ' karunya sparsham ' counters at a reduced cost. The medicines are being provided entirely on a non-profit basis. The project was inaugurated by the Chief Minister on August 29 . The Minister clarified that, within just three and a half months, many people have benefited from this .
