Ban on black; Annamalai claims Stalin is scared.
Ban on black. The suggestion to avoid the color black came at the international workshop held at the Egmore Museum in Chennai, attended by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin. Reports suggest that the avoidance of black could be in response to the black flag protests that took place in several locations against Stalin in the backdrop of the Anna University rape case. Meanwhile, BJP state president K. Annamalai has accused Stalin of being intimidated by the protests.
The representatives were instructed to remove their black shawls, bags, and hats during the event. It was only after Stalin left the event that the black shawls were returned to the women.
