THE BROTHERS & FRIENDS FEATURING MARK WHITFIELD RETURN TO NEW YORK FOR A THANKSGIVING EVE BASH
NEW YORK, NY — International soul, pop, funk and jazz group The Brothers return to New York City on Wednesday, November 25, 2026, for another exciting edition of The Brothers & Friends featuring acclaimed guitarist Mark Whitfield, at NuBlu Classic.

Following their sold-out 2025 performance, the group is preparing a special Thanksgiving Eve Bash celebrating live music, friendship and spontaneous collaborations with some of New York’s finest musicians.
LAST YEAR’S UNFORGETTABLE GATHERING
The previous edition brought together an exceptional lineup of artists. Alongside featured guitarist Mark Whitfield (Quincy Jones, Chaka Khan, George Benson), the stage welcomed special guests Anwar W. Marshall (drums), Rashaan Carter (bass), Marcus Garrick Miller (saxophone), Antoine Drye (trumpet), JK / Joel Kipnis (guitar), and actor/vocalists Leon Robinson, Philip Hamilton, Irene Blackman and Camille Mitchell.

The result was a memorable evening of musical chemistry, unexpected collaborations and performances that captured the spirit of The Brothers & Friends.
WHAT’S IN STORE FOR 2026?
Returning as the main featured artist, Mark Whitfield continues his creative partnership with The Brothers, which also extends to their original recording project Keeping The Music Alive, featuring acclaimed musicians Sasha Berliner and Stacy Dillard.

This year’s newly confirmed special guests include:
CHARLES GOOLD — Drums
A dynamic New York drummer with credits including Wynton Marsalis, Jazz at Lincoln Center and Talib Kweli.
BARRY STEPHENSON — Bass
An acclaimed bassist whose credits include Jon Batiste, Seal and David Sanborn.
But the guest list doesn’t end there.

More surprise special guests will be announced during show week, adding to the anticipation surrounding another unique gathering of musical talent.
With music played on over 200 radio stations worldwide and a recent victory in the 2026 Ageas Cooljazz by Smooth FM Talent Competition, The Brothers continue building their international presence.

After last year’s remarkable lineup, the question remains: Who else might take the stage this Thanksgiving Eve?
